Credit Card Surcharge Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

What is a Credit Card Surcharge?

At KC Conjure, we accept various forms of payment, including credit cards. A credit card surcharge is an additional fee that may be applied to orders paid with certain credit cards to partially offset the processing fees that we incur from payment card networks.

When Is the Surcharge Applied?

A surcharge may be applied only when a customer chooses to pay with a credit card during checkout on kcconjure.com. This surcharge does not apply to debit cards, prepaid cards, ACH/e-check payments, or cash alternatives.

Surcharge Amount and Limits.

The surcharge will be calculated as a percentage of the transaction total and will not exceed the maximum allowed by applicable law and card network rules. In accordance with federal regulations and common card network policies.

The surcharge will not exceed 3% of the total transaction amount. For certain card brands (e.g., Visa), the practical cap is typically 3% due to card network rules.

The surcharge is intended to cover only our cost of accepting credit card payments and not to generate profit.

Notice and Disclosure

Before completing your purchase, you will be clearly informed of any credit card surcharge that applies to your payment method.

The surcharge amount will appear as a separate line item during checkout.

It will also be shown on your transaction receipt or payment confirmation.

Compliance and Updates

This policy is intended to comply with applicable laws, card network standards, and payment processor requirements. KC Conjure reserves the right to update this policy at any time to reflect changes in law or industry standards.
