D.U.M.E. — Death Unto My Enemies — is one of the most powerful and serious workings in the rootworker's cabinet. This is not a candle of anger or impulse. It is a candle of reckoning. It is pulled out when every other measure has been tried, when the harm is real and ongoing, and when the worker has made peace with the weight of what they are asking for.

Burn this candle for seven full days as it works to bring total downfall, ruin, and destruction upon your target. It does not hurry. It does not waver. It simply works.

How to Work This Candle

D.U.M.E. is a last resort working and should be approached with full awareness of its weight. Write your target's name on a piece of paper and state clearly what they have done and what you are calling down upon them. Place it beneath the candle. Dress the top of the glass with D.U.M.E. oil. Traditional workers add graveyard dirt, sulfur, or baneful herbs to strengthen the working. Light the candle with absolute certainty of purpose. Many practitioners in the tradition hold that this working carries consequences for the worker if used without just cause — proceed only when your cause is true.
