When Human Justice Fails, There Is Still One Court Left.

In the Latin American Catholic and folk magic tradition, there is a name spoken in courtrooms, in prison cells, on dangerous streets, and in the quiet prayers of those who have been wrongly accused, unjustly treated, or left without recourse by the systems that were supposed to protect them. That name is El Justo Juez — the Just Judge.

The Just Judge is Christ in his role as the supreme, perfectly fair, and all-seeing judge of all things. The one before whom no lie can stand, no corruption can hide, and no unjust verdict can hold. He sees everything. He knows the truth of every situation. And he is petitioned by those who need that truth to matter in a courtroom, on a street, in a spiritual battle, or in any situation where the scales of justice have been tipped against them.

The Just Judge 7 Day Glass Candle carries that petition for seven full days, asking the supreme authority over all things human and divine to intervene, to see clearly, and to render justice.

Traditional Petitions

  • Legal protection and a just outcome in court cases and legal proceedings
  • Protection from unjust accusation, false charges, and wrongful judgment
  • Safe passage and protection from enemies, danger, and those who wish you harm
  • Protection from arrest, detention, and legal trouble
  • Divine intervention when powerful enemies have stacked the odds against you
  • Protection from witchcraft, spiritual attack, and those working evil — the Just Judge has authority over all spiritual forces
  • General divine justice when human remedies have failed and only a higher court remains

How to Work This Candle

Come to the Just Judge with the truth on your side — this is a petition to the one who sees all things, and sincerity is everything. Write your petition naming your situation clearly: what has been done unjustly, what you are asking to be set right, what protection you need. If you have court documents, a case number, or the name of those who have acted against you, include them. Place the petition beneath the candle. Dress the top of the glass with Just Judge oil or holy oil. Many devotees pray the traditional Justo Juez prayer. If you know it, pray it; if not, speak plainly from your heart. Light the candle before court dates, before dangerous situations, and on the days when injustice feels heaviest. Return each day and trust that the one who sees all things is already at work.

Each candle is approximately 8 inches tall and burns for up to 7 days.
