Saint Michael the Archangel 7 Day Glass Candle
Who Is Like God? No One. And Michael Has the Sword to Prove It.
Before there were saints, there were angels. And before there was any angel whose name was spoken with the weight of absolute authority, there was Michael.
His name is a question and an answer at the same time: Mi-ka-El, Who is like God? The answer, implied in the asking, is: no one. Nothing in creation compares to the divine. And Michael is the one who enforced that truth when it was first challenged — when Lucifer, the brightest of the angels, decided that he would be like God, that he would not serve, that he would rise above. It was Michael who met him. It was Michael who cast him down. It was Michael whose sword ended the first war in heaven and established, once and for all, the order of things.
He appears in the Hebrew scriptures as the prince who stands guard over Israel. He appears in the Book of Revelation as the commander of the heavenly host, leading the armies of heaven against the dragon. He appears in the traditions of Islam as Mika’il, one of the four great angels, associated with the forces of nature and divine mercy. He appears in the Eastern Christian tradition as the healer, the blesser of waters, the angel of miraculous restoration. And in the Catholic tradition, he stands at the moment of death, escorting souls to judgment, holding the scales with perfect justice, and defending the passage of the righteous against whatever would obstruct it.
Pope Leo XIII heard, in a vision after Mass in 1884, a conversation between God and Satan in which Satan was given a century to do his worst to the Church. Leo XIII walked back to his private chapel and wrote the Prayer to Saint Michael on the spot. For nearly a century, that prayer was recited after every Low Mass in the Catholic Church. It is still recited by millions every day: Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
The Saint Michael the Archangel 7 Day Glass Candle carries the full force of that ancient, battle-tested, heaven-commanded protection through seven days of burning.

How to Work This Candle
Come to Saint Michael when the situation calls for the full force of heaven — he is not a saint for small requests but for battles, for protection, for the moments when evil is present and needs to be confronted with divine authority. Write your petition naming what you need him to defend you against: the spiritual attack, the enemy, the danger, the evil that is present in your life or the life of someone you love. Place it beneath the candle. Dress the top of the glass with Saint Michael oil, Protection oil, or Fiery Wall of Protection oil, one of the most powerful protective blends in the hoodoo tradition, perfectly suited to Michael’s energy. His colors are blue, red, and gold the colors of the warrior angel, of heaven’s authority, of the sword and the scales. His feast day is September 29th, Michaelmas, celebrated alongside the archangels Gabriel and Raphael. Light the candle and speak the Prayer to Saint Michael in full. Speak it with the certainty of someone who knows that the commander of the heavenly host is listening. He cast Satan out of heaven. Whatever you are facing, he has faced worse.
Each candle is approximately 8 inches tall and burns for up to 7 days.
